Amazing show. Definitely one of the better final products working on my own.
If nothing else, check out the ridiculous Violin solo by Matt Piche in the first 30 seconds.

Upon looking at my editing repertoire, I realized that I lean towards a brash, fierce editing style. I like hard cuts and billowing music. I wanted to change things up a little bit on this project, and Drew and Amber were there perfect couple to try it with. I think it was a good project to diversity my portfolio.
I made the a real good edit one of these days.

Had an opportunity to do some work for Barry Blaze from Code of Ethics. Barry is such a cool guy, and he has an amazing outlook on life. Glad to make a few pieces happen for him.
My After Effects skills are getting upgraded this month as I’m dedicating some much needed time to it. Hoping to boost the quality of my work even more.

Finally finished this guy. Big ups to Blake Fawley for the 3D composite intro. Feels good looking at the past year of cinematography. I want something better than this though. Better footage. Better edited pieces. I’m out to make it happen.

My friend Jason is a youth pastor and also the manager of the venue The Center near where we great in Port Huron,MI. He asked me to shoot the band Everyday Sunday who came through this past weekend. They are a solid group of dudes.
There were quite a few problems with this project when I got into the edit bay. The song that this was supposed to be about had terrible audio, the venue itself was very dark which lead to the heavy artifacting you see on the digital compression, and I had to mix and match a few scenes I hadn’t intended to.But the final product has the upbeat feel I was looking for.
Be on the lookout for future collabs between Jason and I. There are a few possibilities down the pipe.

I met Tony on a documentary shoot last weekend. The subject of the doc was power lifting, but he couldn’t help but turn the attention back to how Christ saved his life. Tony is hilarious, too! A beautiful character. I wanted to share a small part of his story.
The topic was inspired by the Relent and Respond series by the Status Church Community in Orlando, FL. (www.whatsyourstatus.com)

An interview spot I did for the non-profit organization Good, a fair trade boutique still in the beginning stages.
The interviewee is Kate Lynch, an extremely talented writer and speaker from Orlando, FL.
She discusses her journey to Thailand, where she learned more than she thought she would about economy, poverty, and human trafficking.

It’s been awhile since my last edit. It’s good to feel that adrenaline rush again.

My boy Blake asked me to do a behind the scenes doc on a photo shoot he had at the Paul Mitchell institute. So I did.

It’s been awhile since the last video. This one isn’t anything impressive, but it happened. So I’m posting.
This is the fruits of 2 hours of pre-pro, production, and post. Quality intentionally downgraded in every aspect.
