It’s been almost a month since my last video project, and I’m anxious. This 40 hours a week work stuff is for fools.
Fools who wanna go to college and enlighten themselves and get a life!
For real though, I’m having mental constipation and I have to get it out soon. I also have a chance to get into the video biz a little quicker this weekend, and I think I need to take advantage of it. So I will.
I miss you, let’s hang out.

I want to get my Master’s degree. To bad I’m poor. I don’t wanna be old and say “Man, I should have done this or this” case in point another school degree. Don’t get me wrong. Pieces of paper that say your smart don’t mean a thing in the grand scheme, You can have three P.H.D’s and your still gonna die like that homeless guy with the shopping cart. I want it for me though. I wanna say “I did it”. That might be too much pressure to be smart though, all the college in the world can’t help forgetfullnes and clumsiness.
I love you. Go make today better!

Each time I feel it slip away, it just makes me wanna cry.
So next week is finals. And then summer. And then I’ll continue on with my fourth year working towards a two year degree. I haven’t failed any classes, I just took alot of everything. But I took too broad of a selection to really fit into a second degree, unfortunately (I guess Zoology was a little too much). I love school though. Being able to hang out, and learn what you love, how could you go wrong? Guess what’s after I get my Associates? More school!
Speaking of learning, I just found out that Port Huron Lanes has $1 a game bowling on wednesday nights. Unitl forever (forever ends at midnight). How can anyone pass up that deal?!

OH SNAP! The semester is almost over. I have to get some big projects done here. But they are for video class, so It’s fun doing them. I think I fall in love with Video every day. See? I even capitalized “video” without even thinking about it. I guess it’s good to say that, if it’s the field of profession your going into. Love what you do people! I know I do!
Well, I have to go shoot some footage. But I leave you with this sonnet:
ringing
ringing
ringing
the clock strikes twelve a week later
in your brain,
when you come to,
like the flu
I’ll break you
See you later Alligator
Like a player hater
I’ll mess you up worse than credit card fraud
walk the dog like a
YO YO
BACK UP
YOUR ABOUT TO GET A BAG OF FEATHERS IN YOUR FACE
EVERYBODY MAKE A CIRCLE
LET’S DESTROY THIS PLACE!

Paul McCartney turns 64 this coming year. I wonder what he’ll be thinking that day, and I wonder how different it will be from what he was thinking when he wrote the song “When I’m 64″ about 40 years ago. I hope he’s happy. He’s the richest musician in the history of history. I wonder if that even counts for anything to him. I hope there are people in his life that really love him and make him realize that without them his millions are toilet paper and his status is yesterday (when all his troubles seemed so far away).
Last week, Mark, Joe and I were on air at the college radio station (WSGR 91.3, St. Clair County Community College’s own FM station) and we were talking about an article in the Erie Square Gazette about morality and religion, and the question came up “Does morality stem from religion?” and I think the answer is no. Religion is just a man made system to praise God. Morality stems from God, as we are granted the choice between good and evil at birth. Although I feel religion is important, I think it’s moreso guidelines as how to worship Christ and build a relationship with Him, not a crutch.
I’m not right about things. And I think it’s good for me to know that. I do think love conquers all though. I think I can stand by that. And that no one is an “idiot” or “stupid” as a defining characteristic, that we all have moments of unclarity and clumsitude. Love your neighbor as yourself goes a long way.
How do you like that? Three seperate posts and one made up word all in one!

I’m that close.
Today I was thinking about how next week is spring break. And I was actually like “Man, I have to work 40 hours, then 20 extra hours of my internship next week. no spring break for Brent.” Then in the middle of my pity parade, I realized that kids directly across the world are working there lives away for $1 a month. Poor me.
What a whiner.
I’m almost done reading “Blue Like Jazz” by Don Miller. I borrowed the book from Brandon who borrowed it from Charles, but I’m gonna buy it so Don can eat. Here’s why you should read it:
“One night I watched the sunset til the stars faded in and, while looking up, my mind, or my heart, I do not know which, realized how endless it all was. I laid myself down on some grass and reached my hand directly out toward where? I don’t know. There is no up or down. There has never been an up and down. Things like up and down were invented so as not to scare children, so as to reduce mystery to math. The truth is we do not know there is an end to material existence. It may go on forever, which is something the mind cannot understand.”
“…dying for something is easy because it is associated with glory. Living for something is the hard thing. Living for something extends beyond fashion, glory, or recognition. We live for what we believe..”
